Blue has had a rough start to life… his trust of people is pretty low at the moment, as he has been on a chain most of his life. As such, open spaces are just amazing to him , and he does like to race off. Blue is learning to socialise with both people and dogs, and is slowly picking up normal social cues.
Blue will require a reasonable sized yard, with ‘dog tested’ fences as he likes to dig. His foster is confident this behaviour will be short lived, once he is settled and gets used to actually being able to walk around freely off a chain!
Blue has recently had a name change, as his previous name scared him, and he would cower and run away when you called him that name. With the new name, his outlook on life has improved and he is less afraid, and is very affectionate. He is very smart and in only a week has picked up some basic commands.
The adoptive parents of Blue will need some patience, as even simple things like walking on a lead are very confusing and new to him. However, the pay off will be an amazing companion. He is not a dog that barks much, but is learning to bark at strangers coming to the yard and will be a good guard dog.
Blue is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. He is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.
