Despite a rough start to life, Mitch is a very happy, talkative, energetic and loving dog. He is very playful and loves to leap after his toys like a cat. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a friend to do zoomies around the yard with. Mitch also loves spending time with humans – his ideal home would be one where he can spend plenty of time with you throughout the day, with his preferred sleeping spot being inside, or better yet, in your bed (so comfy!)
Mitch is house and toilet trained but will require further obedience and lead training. He is great around children, cats, other dogs and even birds, although his curiosity and playfulness means he can sometimes be a bit full on.
Mitch certainly does not have the appetite of a Labrador and he is not very food oriented. Instead, he is more motivated by pats and toys. Although Mitch is fairly small, his legs act like springs when he is leaping and jumping – for this reason, Mitch will need a yard with high fences as he can easily jump low fences.
Mitch is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, heart wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. Mitch is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.
To adopt you will need photo ID, proof of residence, as in a current rates notice or a rental agreement showing approval to have animals, as well as vaccination and desexing records for any current pets you may already own.
