Poppy came into care in very poor condition, skinny and extremely scared. She doesn’t trust unfamiliar humans and it will take lots of time and patience to form a bond with her. Poppy is food motivated and will venture out for snacks once she gets to know her new family. Poppy is good with other dogs, cats and older children. She would be best suited for a home with another dog. She is not an aggressive dog, just a very frightened one due to poor treatment in the past.
Poppy is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, vet checked, flea and tick treated. Poppy is in foster care and is now ready for adoption. Please call 0409 184 685 between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday/Sunday to arrange a viewing.
To adopt you will need photo ID, proof of residence, as in a current rates notice or a rental agreement showing approval to have animals, as well as vaccination and desexing records for any current pets you may already own.
